Is there a specific start/end day when staying?
No, you can start and end your stay on any date you wish (subject to availability). All we require is a minimum 2 night stay.
When do we check in/collect the keys?
Check in is any time between 3pm-8pm. On arrival please go to reception where you can collect your keys. Check out is by 10am.
Is there parking at the premises?
Yes we have a private secure car park (CCTV in operation). There is space for 2 cars per apartment/cottage. Extra parking may be possible on request. Please note: Chilton Apartments & Cottages accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles parked at the premises.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
Please refer to our cancellation policy in our Terms & Conditions.
Does the rate include all bills & taxes?
All electricity, water & taxes are included for stays up to & including 7 nights. For stays of 8 nights + there is a generous daily allowance of electricity usage of 35 peak rate units & 40 off-peak rate units. Charges for excess usage are explained in our Terms & Conditions.
Do I need to pay any deposit for the apartment/cottage?
There is a refundable £50 key/security deposit payable on arrival (cash £ sterling or cheque). This deposit is returned at the end of your stay subject to any necessary deductions outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Are pets welcome?
Some pets may be considered (please state when enquiring). There is no additional charge but we do request a refundable £100 key/security deposit on arrival.
What bed linen is provided?
Quality bed linen & towels are provided. If extra supplies are needed please go to reception. Bed linen & towels will normally be changed every 7 days.
Is there disabled access?
Lewis Cottage has a ramp for wheelchair access although there is limited access in the bathroom (please enquire). The ground floor Churchill & Halley apartments are suitable for some wheelchair users. Please visit the 'Access Statement' page on this website.
Do you allow hen & stag parties?
Sorry but due to the quiet nature of the village no such parties are allowed.
